Ramble Folk Signature Bag.
I am so excited to share this bag!! :) After hours and hours of work and many, many pinholes in my finger tips later, I am so very happy with how my first Signature Bag turned out!
I've been curious about textile design forever, and I've been wanting to create a unique piece of upcycled textile from my scraps ever since I first started making upcycled designs.
The front of this bag is the product of countless scraps of fabrics leftover from past projects. I keep ALL of my scraps, some of the smaller scraps were placed over larger blanket scraps, handsewn to hold, machine stitched down, more hand sewing, and many MANY hours of slow crafting later, a truly unique, one of a kind piece of fabric, that I turned into the best, and most magic bag I have ever made! *as voted by me! :) x
- Upcycled scraps of fabric from some of my past projects
- Brown corduroy fabric from Weymouth Market for the base
- Vintage brown 'Onkaparinga' woolen blanket on the back
- Old curtain rings and belts from the op-shop used in the straps
- Internal pocket with metal zipper closure
- Lined with a vintage Orange flower fabric piece
Dimensions (cm): 30w x 38h x 10d
IMPORTANT UPDATE - There is only 1 of this design available and it is READY TO SHIP!
I personally pick all my materials from op-shops, second hand stores, markets, and online vintage fabric groups. I make my own patterns and everything is sewn and constructed by hand, by me, to a ridiculous and meticulous standard, and it's just so cool to have you here, to share the fun and beauty of these amazing upcycled materials!
Thanks for stopping by!

* Some important Information when purchasing an Upcycled item... Each item will be different to the next, and have differences from what is pictured. Sometimes I will add random seams to limit fabric waste of smaller pieces. Pattern placements, accessories, belts, markings, and wear lines will change from item to item. Each bag is unique to the next, with it's own story to tell of where it's been in a previous life, and that is the beauty of it all!
